Janice Conti Obituary
Janice Zanolini was born on July 6, 1945 in Napa, California to Joe and Thora Zanolini. Janice married Mario Conti, Jr. and had one child, Noelle Conti. After graduating from CAL, Janice moved from Napa, where she was a popular cheerleader at Napa High School, to Marin County to start a new life for herself and her daughter. There, she became a successful recruiter for many Fortune 500 companies. "If you want to do it, just go do it," she used to tell her daughter (long before Nike did). She was self-determined, uncommonly independent, and creative. The move to the Bay Area helped her expose her daughter to all the artistic and cultural experiences San Francisco and Marin had to offer.
When Janice developed dementia, she never lost her fighting spirit, intuition, or childlike enthusiasm for music, dance, and all things creative. She loved to tell people how beautiful they were, and always stepped up to help those she felt needed protecting. She suggested that her daughter give flowers to seniors because it would mean so much to them, and make them happy (cake and ice cream would, too). She is survived by her daughter Noelle Conti. Fly free now, keep dancing and rest in peace. You were loved. Janice Marie Conti
