Linda Sue Yohner

Linda Sue Yohner, 72, of Napa, died peacefully Sept. 2 at a local convalescent center following a lengthy illness.

Born August 22, 1945 in Vallejo, she was the daughter of the late William Yohner and Shirley Young. She was a 1963 graduate of Napa High School, attended Napa College, and received a Bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from then Sacramento State. Linda taught elementary school—first in a public system and last at St. John’s Catholic School in Napa. She spent most of her career as a mortgage underwriter in Napa’s real estate industry, retiring after more than thirty years. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Napa.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and by her nephew, Mike Smalley. She is survived by three siblings: Debby Mills, Rick Yohner, and Mark Yohner, and by a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am Friday, Sept. 8, at the Rockville Cemetery, 4219 Suisun Valley Rd. in Fairfield. Treadway & Wigger Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
