Madeline Gertrude Hawes, 68, of Napa, died Dec. 5, 2012, at a local convalescent center following a lengthy illness
She was born July 23, 1944, in Vallejo, the daughter of Marion Russell and Gertrude Madeline Barthelmes Harris. She was a graduate of Napa High School and a homemaker. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her former husband, Dale Hawes; two sons, Michael Hawes, and Steven Hawes and his wife Marsha; sister Shirley Harris; and two brothers, Marion R. Harris, Jr. and Richard Harris.
