Etta Lois Fowler (Crocker)

Etta Lois Fowler (Crocker)

That's my Mama! You would never guess that she struck fear in the hearts of even the largest convicts! I heard stories from the time she was a Correctional officer that I found hard to believe but found to be true. She was born July 17th 1945 and passed away in the morning of September 4th 2025. She was a single mother and busted her butt for me and my sisters to give us what she could and keep a roof over our heads. She is loved and will be missed and there will never be another like her! I've gone down broken roads in my journey through life and would never be where I am without her support and at times tough love when necessary I am grateful for the Mom i was given and couldn't be more amazed by the woman she was. Thank you Mama for everything I love you

Was surprised and saddened to hear this. I didn't know Etta well in school, but got to know her better at the Ladies lunches. That was lucky for me, she was a real go getter. Rest in Peace Etta.
