I met Claudette in 2nd grade when we moved to American Canyon.  I'd never known anyone who had Polio, but her left arm was permanently bent.  It never affected her personality - she was always happy and had that beautiful smile.  She always loved dancing and was a super fun partner!  She was a joy to know and such a caring friend.  So many wonderful classmates we were gifted to know and love.  xox

There are so many things that we can say about our forever friend Claudette, but it always comes down to a few words that describe this wonderful lady i.e. always laughing, friendly to all with a beautiful smile and always seemed to put others first before herself.  I can't begin to tell you how many times I danced with Claudette, but it was such a pleasure just to hear her say " hey buster you owe me a dance".  You just gotta love someone who was so full of life.  And for me, I just gotta say - goodbye my friend, I truly loved you.

To my friend Sandy, I am so very  sorry for your loss.  I know that somewhere you and she will dance again.

Always,

Dick Hathaway

So sorry to hear about Claudette.  Some people we assume will always be here.  It comes as such a surprise  when they are not with us anymore.  My thoughts are with Claudette's family.
