Lee was a great guy and a good friend from seventh grade at Ridgeview through senior year. I wish I knew what his life after that had been like, that we hadn't fallen out of touch like many of us did. We used to call him 'Little Lee Peak' but he showed me just how not little he was one day at baseball practice behind the highschool gym. I thought of myself as quite a good arm wrestler and one day Lee asked if he could try me. Well, try me he did. I must have had him by 50 pounds but he held me to a standstill. To this day am still not sure if he was giving it his all. Knowing Lee and that mischievious smile I saw on his face he might have been going easy on me, not wanting to show me up---he was that kind of person.
