I just ran across Michael's name in a book I found online.  It's tragic news about his death.

In The Final Leap: Suicide on the Golden Gate Bridge, by John Bateson, he is listed on page 264, in Appendix C - Golden Gate Bridge Suicides.  It lists his death as June 17, 1971.

I had been told about his leap some time ago along with the information that his remains were not recovered. A sad end for a longtime friend.

Here's the link I found. https://books.google.com/books?id=PUkx2TMmK6EC&pg=PA264&lpg=PA264&dq=Michael+Paul+Lamm&source=bl&ots=NS3N4VlpqK&sig=ACfU3U0HeyWdz3QepCZeS74-vKoF5qwL3A&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwik-czpgd7gAhWQJDQIHaNBBMgQ6AEwDHoECAEQAQ#v=onepage&q=Michael%20Paul%20Lamm&f=false

Thank you for the information. I have corrected his memory page.

It is a profound sadness--that Michael and so many others reach such depths of despair, breaking on some misfortune, on some mistreatment, on some misunderstooding or even too great an understanding, When perhaps one kind word, just one step back could make all the difference. It is so very easy to not notice.
